Our Ministry
The creation care team is a parish ministry designed to bring light and life to Pope Francis’ encyclical: Laudato Si’: On Care For Our Common Home.
This ministry accomplishes this through …
· Prayer: How can we give glory to God for Creation?
· Reflection: How can we learn more about our relationship with God, our neighbors, and all of Creation?
· Action: What does our faith make our feet do for Creation?
Meetings are 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6pm in Room 5 (formerly known as Family Counseling room). Exception: November meeting will be at Tricia's house.

Creation Care Talk
Many thanks to Eric Starr of the Merrimack Conservation commission for his talk on the importance of wetlands, with a focus on the Pennichuck brook wetlands right behind the church.
As part of the Season of Creation, you are invited to consider where your food comes from. Eating food that is locally sourced supports local businesses and uses less energy because food is not being transported hundreds or thousands of miles.Please consider purchasing your fruit, vegetables, eggs, etc. from local. Let's Recycle More Together...
In an attempt to reuse materials and help reduce our landfills & polution, we've joined the NexTrex plastic recycling challenge. You'll find the plastic bag/wrap collection bins in the coat closet and the church hall. So please bring in your clean materials indicated below for this recycling effort. NOTE: No hard plastics/paper in these.
Congratulations to all of us! In 2024, this parish recycled over 1,000 pounds of plastic film through the next Trex recycling program. It's great news that we kept that much plastic out of landfills. We will continue recycling the plastic film through 2025. Because we recycled so much, we earned a Trex bench!

The Letter - A Message for Our Earth is a brilliant and moving documentary that focuses on the Care for Creation message of Pope Francis, who urges us “to hear the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor,” while encouraging climate change action on a global scale.
